Ein Schwarz-Weiß-Super8-Film wird mit einen Projektor, der von einer Person auf der Schulter gehalten wird, an die Wand projiziert. Für die Projektion wird eine Leinwand (120 x 130 cm) angefertigt und an der Wand befestigt. Auf dieser Leinwand wird dann der projizierte Schwarz-Weiß-Film mit schnellen Pinselstrichen in Farbe wiedergegeben.
Das Publikum wird aufgefordert, sich zu beteiligen, indem die Besucher_innen während der Projektion Zahlen von 1 bis 6 aufrufen. Die Zahlen sind jeweils einer Farbe (Rot, Blau, Gelb, Braun, Grün, Orange) zugeordnet, die Zuordnung selbst ist jedoch nur der malenden Akteurin bekannt. Auf diese Weise wählen die Personen spontan eine Farbe, welche die Akteurin sogleich auf die Leinwand aufträgt.
Das Publikum sieht zugleich den Film und die Akteurin, die sich, in Weiß gekleidet, in die Projektionsfläche integriert. Die im Film gezeigten Bilder werden schemenhaft auf die Leinwand gemalt und bis zum Ende der Projektion in ein farbiges, verdichtetes Standbild transformiert.
Aus dem dreiminütigen Schwarz-Weiß-Film wird ein reales, eigenständiges Bild entwickelt, das nur eine Kopie des Filmes in Bruchstücken (ein Film Still) in Farbe wiedergeben kann.
Was als Erinnerung an den Film im Gedächtnis der Betrachter_innen bleibt, gibt die Leinwand wieder.
Am Ende der Aktion bleibt das gemalte Bild, und ausschließlich dieses ist am Veranstaltungsort für die der Dauer der Ausstellung zu sehen.
Von Besucher_innen der Ausstellung, die nicht am Ort des Geschehens anwesend waren, wird die Leinwand als eigenständiges Bild rezipiert, für Rezipient_innen, die das Bild aktiv mitgestaltet haben, inkludiert es zugleich eine Erinnerung an den Film mit seinen Abbildungen als Kopien von Realität. Das wiederum impliziert eine weitere Bedeutungsebene der Erinnerung, die von Erinnerung an ein reales Geschehen auf Erinnerung an ein Abbild eines realen filmischen Geschehens erweitert wird.

A black and white Super 8 film is projected on the wall, while the projector is being held up on a person's shoulder. A screen (120 x 130 cm) is created for the projection and attached to the wall. The black and white film being projected is copied in quick brush-strokes of color.
The audience is encouraged to take part by calling out numbers from 1 to 6 during the projection. The numbers correspond to a color (red, blue, yellow, brown, green, orange), but exactly how they correspond is only known to the artist who is drawing on the screen. And so in this way people spontaneously choose a color, which the performer immediately applies to the screen.
The public simultaneously sees the film and the performer who is dressed in white and melds with the surface of the projection. The images presented in the film are sketchily painted on the screen and over the course of the film are transformed into a colorfully dense still image.
The three-minute black and white film results in a concrete, independent image, a copy that can only represent the film in fragments (a film still) of color.
That which remains as a memory in the mind of the viewer is made concrete on screen.
At the end of the performance, the painted image remains on exhibition for the duration of the exhibition.
For visitors to the exhibition who were not present for the happening, the screen is received as a picture in its own right. For those who actively participated in its creation, it at the same time includes a memory of the film and its images as copies of reality. This in turn implies a further level of meaning in regard to memory, expanding into the memory of a real event on top of the memory of a representation of a real filmic event.
